A1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relations between the employer, the Institute and the employees and to establish certain conditions of employment relating to remuneration, hours of work, benefits and general conditions of work affecting employees covered by this Agreement. CVS tasks are spread over the quarterly period during normal working hours. The CFIA said in a statement that employees still have the right to refuse to work if they have “reasonable grounds to believe there is a danger,” and said there have been no cases of refusal to work so far. “The CFIA is working to ensure that veterinarians and inspectors work in one establishment. However, current industry requirements may require same-day monitoring or inspection services at more than one facility,” he said. 2.1 In any transition to the profession that may involve ten (10) or more indeterminate employees covered by this Annex, the President shall notify the President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada or his delegates in writing and in confidence at least forty-eight (48) hours before the announcement of a transitional situation. This information must include the identity and location of the work unit(s) concerned; the expected date of the announcement; the expected time of the situation; and the number of employees, by group and level, who will be affected. The Parties will create an Employee Wellness Support Program (ESPP) focused on improving employee well-being and reintegrating employees into the workplace after periods of illness or injury. C10.02 The topics that may be appropriately determined for joint consultation shall be determined by mutual agreement between the Parties and shall include consultations on career development. The consultation may take place at local, regional or national level, as determined by the Parties.
Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, an employee may, at the request of an employee and with the consent of the employer, complete his weekly hours of work over a period other than five (5) full days, provided that he works an average of thirty-seven decimal hours (37.5) per week over a period of twenty-eight (28) calendar days. Within the framework of the provisions of this clause, the attendance relationship is mutually agreed between the employee and the employer. In any period of twenty-eight (28) days, such a worker shall be given rest on days which are not intended to be a normal working day for that worker. The standards for the number of stations are set out in Chapter 17 (Red meat species, ratites) and Chapter 19 (Poultry, rabbits) of the MOP. Additional inspection posts may be approved by the Regional Director under an agreement with the operator on an annual or hourly basis in accordance with paragraph 128(3) and (4) of the MIR. .
