All students learn differently. Whether they need a
stronger challenge or academic support,
More Than SAT will give your student the tools to succeed.
More Than Scores And Test’s Digital Advanced Learning (DAL) is an innovative after-school program for K-8 students. We combine our individualized, holistic academic coaching with the best learning technology.
Our current tool, Redbird (digital education developed by Stanford University), automatically adapts to each student’s unique needs, whether to speed up or catch up. The Digital Advanced Learning method was developed at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Innovation Lab.
BLENDED LEARNING MODEL
More Than SAT’s Digital Advanced Learning (DAL) employs an innovative learning model, based on the latest learning research. It combines the best of both world:
- Technology-based learning: award-winning, engaging, and self-directed technology-based learning content in mathematics and language arts & writing. The system individually adapts to the strengths and needs of each individual student, allowing the student to take charge of their own learning.
- Live academic coaching: combined with a live face-to-face coaching for support, feedback, and accountability as students build self-motivated learning skills. Our Academic Coaches are trained to support the student’s learning while engaging them to help them make the most out of their learning time.
FOUNDATIONS FOR SUCCESS
More Than SAT’s Digital Advanced Learning (DAL) offers programs in Math and/or Language Arts & Writing (LA&W). A student would come into our center just twice a week for 50 minutes each for each subject. Many students come in to do both subjects.
“I’ve been getting all 100% in my class math tests so far, thanks to DAL!” – E.M. (Student)
“What? time is up already? Can I do more? … I wish my school was this much fun.” – D.C. (Student)
“My son’s NWEA MAP test results improved by more than 10 percentile. He’s now at 94% in the state after just three months of DAL.” – J.C. (Parent)
